Ford Bosch EDC17CP65 ECU Clone & Programming
The Bosch EDC17CP65 is a diesel engine control unit fitted to Ford diesel applications. When one of these ECUs fails, a bare replacement won’t run the vehicle until its data is matched to your car — normally a dealer coding and immobilizer-synchronization job. Our clone service takes care of it: we read the data off your original EDC17CP65 and write it onto a matching donor, so the ECU you get back is a genuine plug-and-play match.

How ordering works

- Ship us both units — your original EDC17CP65 and the matching replacement — using the packing instructions we email you (or drop them off at our Calgary shop).
- We read your original, clone the data onto the replacement, and bench-test it (usually same-day, within 24 hours of arrival).
- We return the finished ECU ready to install.
Turnaround & shipping
Most orders are cloned, tested and back out the door within 24 hours of reaching our bench. We’re based in Calgary and welcome local drop-off from Calgary and the surrounding communities, with Canada-wide and international shipping for everyone else.
Warranty
Our cloning work carries a 12-month warranty. If a unit we cloned develops a fault in that time, we’ll re-clone or repair it; in the rare case it can’t be put right, we’ll refund the service. The warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers our workmanship on the clone.
Before you order
We need to be able to read your original ECU to copy its data, and your replacement must be the correct matching EDC17CP65 hardware. If your original is completely dead, or you’re unsure the two units are compatible, message us with your part and software numbers first and we’ll tell you exactly what to send.
