Last updated: August 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of canadaecu.com and the repair and cloning services provided by Canada ECU. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these terms.

Our services

Canada ECU provides mail-in repair and cloning of automotive electronic control modules (including ECU/PCM, TCM, instrument clusters, ABS modules and body control modules). Cloning copies the data from your original unit to a compatible replacement you supply; repair restores your existing unit. We do not provide services intended to defeat emissions equipment or vehicle anti-theft and immobilizer security.

Orders and pricing

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars and may change at any time. For many services we confirm the exact service and price with you before you ship your module. Placing an order does not guarantee a specific outcome until we have inspected your unit.

Mail-in process and your responsibilities

You are responsible for packaging your module securely and for shipping costs to us, and for providing accurate vehicle and part information. Items can be lost or damaged in transit, so we recommend a tracked, insured shipping method. Any replacement or donor unit you supply for cloning must be a genuine hardware match for your vehicle.

Warranty

Our workmanship is backed by a 12-month warranty covering the specific repair or cloning we performed. The warranty does not cover unrelated faults, physical damage, water damage, tampering, incorrect installation, or issues caused by a mismatched donor unit.

Refunds and returns

Refunds and returns are handled in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canada ECU is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.
